No matter which side of the fence you sit on, coach Joe Judge disagrees if the argument for deciding whether the starting quarterback is green-lit this weekend against the Ravens is based on urgency to win with time running out in the regular season.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe standard remains the same: My concern has been his health \u2014 to make sure he can go on the field and protect himself,\u201d Judge said. \u201cBecause of any change in the number of game<\/a>s remaining in the season, that doesn\u2019t dictate what we would put him at in terms of risk.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Giants are planning a Friday afternoon practice to allow players Christmas morning with their families. Friday has been the key day each of the last three weeks in determining Jones\u2019 availability to sit, start and then sit again.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt will be a shorter day and a little bit less intense day in terms of what we do on the field,\u201d Judge said, \u201cso we\u2019re going to have to stay ahead in how we work Wednesday and Thursday as a team.\u201d<\/p>\n
