This removed the noise and helped the RNN learn patterns that were twice as long.<\/p>\n<p>Dadabots then curated the data to leave mostly fast licks, as SampleRNN works best with quicker tempos.<\/p>\n<p>They also experimented with different temperature values, a\u00a0<span>setting that controls the randomness of the output:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span>Sometimes the high temperatures sound like two basses playing at the same time. Alternatively, it could produce an endless stream of original music with relatively little human effort.<\/p>\n<p>Dadabots are exploring a range of possibilities.
