\"Famitsu<\/p>\n

Famitsu<\/a> has published its estimated physical game<\/a> software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of December 14, 2020 to December 20, 2020. <\/span><\/p>\n

Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban!<\/em> remained the top selling release, moving an additional 209,123 retail copies. While several new titles launched last week, the top 10 is occupied by existing Nintendo releases and Minecraft<\/em>.<\/p>\n

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 263,304 units, bringing its total sales in Japan to over 17 million units; the PlayStation 5 family sold 17,578 units, the PlayStation 4 family sold 10,343 units, and the Xbox Series<\/a> family sold 375 units. Both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series platforms remain in short supply.<\/p>\n
