\n Mike Tyson has no doubt that Jamie Foxx will do a \u201cgreat job\u201d portraying the 53-year-old boxer in a forthcoming biopic but advised caution ahead.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m very grateful. I\u2019m very excited about it,\u201d Tyson recently said in an interview with Charlie Mack, according to The Sun. \u201cI\u2019m gonna sit down and tell him the truth and he\u2019s gonna have to learn to process that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tyson continued, \u201cIt\u2019s not going to be pretty.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last week, Foxx spoke about his upcoming turn as the controversial heavyweight, revealing he\u2019s doing 60 pull-ups, 60 dips, and 100 push-ups every other day.<\/p>\n

\u201cI ain\u2019t got no legs. I ain\u2019t got no calf muscles, so we\u2019re gonna have to get some prosthetics for that,\u201d Foxx quipped on \u201cCatching Up with Mark Birnbaum.\u201d<\/p>\n

Foxx, 52, also recounted his first encounter with Tyson during the Q&A.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was on stage doing stand-up years ago. I get to my Mike Tyson joke, I was a young dude, like 22. I get to my Mike Tyson joke and nobody claps, nobody laughs,\u201d Foxx said, noting Tyson was in the building.<\/p>\n

Foxx said he did the joke and received a standing ovation from Tyson.<\/p>\n

\u201cI started hanging out with Mike Tyson, so I got a chance to see Mike in two different ways, two different lives. I saw him at the height of his career, and then, when things got bad, when things got bumpy, I also saw him as well,\u201d Foxx said.<\/p>\n

The Oscar-winning actor is ready to convey both the highs and lows of Tyson\u2019s storied career.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I\u2019m excited about the movie is to show those moments of the different Mike,\u201d Foxx said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think everybody, from young and old, will be able to understand this man\u2019s journey,\u201d he added.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
