If we keep doing what we are doing right now, I think it is 10 or 15 years away.\u2019<br \/>\n        <span class=\"r-qt article__inset__pullquote__mark--right\">\u201d<\/span>\n      <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>       That\u2019s Sam Zell, the founder and chairman of Equity Group Investments, warning in <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.realvision.com\/shows\/the-kiril-sokoloff-interviews\/videos\/the-great-wisdom-of-sam-zell\" class=\"icon none\">a recent RealVision interview<\/a> that \u201ca 25% reduction in our standard of living\u201d could take place if the dollar<br \/>\n        DXY,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210598269\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-0.11%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       loses its reserve status, which he says is a very real possibility. <\/p>\n<p> \u201cUnlimited debt and irresponsible activity don\u2019t lead to positive outcomes,\u201d the billionaire real-estate mogul added. \u201cThat\u2019s a disastrous kind of scenario.\u201d <\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       Zell isn\u2019t the only heavy-hitter concerned about what a crumbling dollar could do to the U. S. economy. Bridgewater\u2019s Ray Dalio recently warned that \u201cwe\u2019re very close\u201d to losing that status. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe system needs to be re-engineered\u00a0to do this. But if we don\u2019t do this engineering well, we\u2019re going to spend in an unlimited way and deal with that by creating debt that won\u2019t ever be paid back,\u201d Dalio told MarketWatch back in September. \u201cWithin the next five years you could see a situation in which foreigners who have been lending money to the United States won\u2019t want to.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As for Zell, he also shared his thoughts on the current investing climate in <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/markets.businessinsider.com\/currencies\/news\/billionaire-investor-sam-zell-questions-tesla-bitcoin-work-from-home-2020-12-1029910959\" class=\"icon none\">comments from the RealVision interview compiled by Business Insider<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe can look at some parts of the stock market today and say, \u2018Everybody is crazy,&#8217;\u201d he said, \u201cI look at valuations and see extraordinary numbers that I can\u2019t support.\u201d  He pointed specifically to one of the market\u2019s highfliers. \u201cI can\u2019t even begin to give you an intelligent assessment of Tesla<br \/>\n        TSLA,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/203558040\/composite\" class=\"positive\">+2.44%<\/bg-quote><span>.<\/span><br \/>\n      \u201d<\/p>\n<p>Then there\u2019s bitcoin<br \/>\n        BTCUSD,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/31322028\/realtime\" class=\"positive\">+1.68%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       and it\u2019s nosebleed ride to record highs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am very skeptical, frankly, of bitcoin.\u201d he said. \u201cUltimately, it may be the answer or one of the answers. But right now, it\u2019s a world that\u2019s extraordinarily populated by chameleons and other fast-talking characters. I don\u2019t believe everybody involved in it are the kind of people I\u2019d like to follow. \u201d <\/p>\n<p> Finally, Zell also had a message for those confident that they have a pulse on where the volatile stock market is headed in 2021: \u201cEverybody else seems to have a kind of timing <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> in their own head. \u2018Well, I can get out before so and so h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ens,&#8217;\u201d he said. \u201cThe world is full of skeletons of people who believed they could get out before the bad event came.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the market continues its volatile ways with the Dow Jones Industrial Average<br \/>\n        DJIA,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210598065\/realtime\" class=\"positive\">+0.23%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       off <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a>le-digits on Tuesday.
