This couple is on a roll when it comes to supporting local restaurants during the pandemic. <\/p>\n

Eager for a way to eat out while indoor dining is restricted in their part of Illinois, Doug and Kim White bought a table, some folding chairs and a nice red and white checkered table cloth and set them up in the back of a large van.<\/p>\n

String up some cafe lights, document the exploits on social media<\/a> and bam! Van_Dining was born.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cHaving been in the industry, I know how hard it is for a restaurant to stay in business even without a pandemic threat,\u201d Doug White wrote on Facebook<\/a> back in October. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll do what we can to support our eateries,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you have a favorite restaurant you want to go to but the take out doesn\u2019t travel<\/a> so well, reach out to us and borrow the van!!!!!!! (only seats two).\u201d<\/p>\n

The Whites include reviews of their meals and information on how people can support local restaurants with each post. Van_Dining was even featured on the \u201cToday Show.\u201d<\/a><\/p><\/div>\n
