\nNick McGlashan<\/strong>, a deck boss and commercial fisherman, who was also a regular on Discovery<\/strong>\u2018s long-running hit reality TV show\u00a0Deadliest Catch<\/em>, has died.<\/p>\n

According to his family, the seventh-generation fisherman passed away at some point on Sunday in Nashville, Tennessee. He was just 33-years old.<\/p>\n

No cause of death has thus far been reported, and it\u2019s unclear why Nick \u2014 who lived and worked in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska \u2014 was in Tennessee. TMZ<\/em> first publicly reported his passing on Monday morning. The Discovery Channel did not immedia<\/a>tely comment on the death; a representative for the medical examiner\u2019s office in Davidson County, Tennessee declined to provide any further information.<\/p>\n

His sister\u00a0Lydia<\/strong> confirmed the news<\/a> on Sunday night, posting to\u00a0Twitter<\/strong> about his passing and imploring others to remain close to their beloved family members:<\/p>\n
