\nOnly a few short months since word got out that Emma Roberts<\/strong> and boyfriend Garrett Hedlund<\/strong> were expecting their first child together, their baby boy has finally arrived!<\/p>\n

The new parents reportedly welcomed their son on Sunday, a healthy little guy they\u2019re calling Rhodes Hedlund<\/strong>. According to TMZ<\/em>, the baby weighed around 9 pounds, and both momma and newborn are doing well post-delivery. Whew, good to hear!<\/p>\n

As we previously reported, their exciting pregnancy news<\/a> was revealed at the end of June thanks to an Us Weekly<\/em> source, though little to no details were spilled. It was only until the American Horror Story<\/em> actress went on her Instagram<\/strong> late last month to publicly confirm she was with child that followers got a few hints about their coming new addition.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old debuted her baby bump on the popular social media<\/a> platform, referencing her two \u201cfavorite guys\u201d in her caption. Considering it was just a pic of herself and her actor beau, it was easy to assume that meant they knew of their little one\u2019s gender!<\/p>\n

And to think, he\u2019s already here!!<\/p>\n

Not long after, a People<\/em> insider dished how the pair are \u201cvery serious\u201d in their relationship and are \u201cbeyond excited to be having a boy.\u201d For those not caught up to speed with this seemingly whirlwind romance, they\u2019ve been together since March 2019, right after it went public Roberts broke off her engagement with off-again, on-again boyfriend Evan Peters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Clearly things are much better for the star this time around, with the confidant spilling more about them as a couple:<\/p>\n

\u201cGarrett thinks Emma is amazing. They will be great parents.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In July, a month following news of her pregnancy, an Us<\/em> source divulged it may not have exactly been planned, but they were thrilled nonetheless:<\/p>\n

\u201c[They are feeling] surprised, shocked and happ<\/a>y at the same time, and so are their families.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Speaking of families, Roberts\u2019 momma Kelly Cunningham<\/strong> was maybe a little TOO \u201chappy\u201d when she slipped up and confirmed the pregnancy before her own daughter. One IG commenter straight-up asked her, \u201cIs Emma pregnant?????\u201d to which she replied with an excited \u201cYes!!\u201d. Oops! A second fan noted Kelly will make an amazing grandmother, responding with:<\/p>\n

Cunningham later deleted her account, perhaps for crossing her daughter. LOLz! We would imagine Emma was looking forward to announcing it first, but you can\u2019t be too mad at your own momma, right??<\/p>\n

Anyway, that\u2019s something the Scream Queens<\/em> performer will likely learn as she raises her own child with Garrett!<\/p>\n
