Now that the truth about Hilaria Baldwin\u2019s \u2014 or should we say Hillary Thomas Hayward\u2019s \u2014 identity has been revealed, it\u2019s time to dig a little deeper on her family.<\/p>\n

Hilaria, 36, is the daughter of Dr. Kathryn Hayward and David Thomas. Though some suspected Hayward\u2019s father, Charles \u201cChuck\u201d Hayward, could be Spanish, it turns out he\u2019s a born and bred Bay Stater, hailing from East Longmeadow, Mass. His late wife, Irene, was also born and raised in Massachusetts. <\/p>\n

Charles and Irene raised Kathryn in Massachusetts as well, where she ultimately became an internist at Massachusetts General<\/a> Hospital and assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. She and Thomas welcomed daughter Hilary in January 1984 in Boston, though Hilaria previously claimed she was born in Mallorca, Spain. <\/p>\n

On the CAA Speakers website, her biography states<\/a> that she was born in Mallorca and raised in Boston. Two cover stories with Spanish magazine Hola! also claim that she was born in Mallorca.<\/p>\n

This weekend, Hilaria admitted that she was born Hillary in Boston.<\/p>\n

Hilaria attended the Cambridge School of Weston, Mass., before graduating and attending NYU for college.<\/p>\n

In 2004, Kathryn founded the integrative health program Odyssey Journey, and in 2007, she and Thomas, whose American roots pre-date the American Revolution, co-founded International Integrators in Boston. Thomas also practiced corporate real estate law for Ropes & Gray and Peabody & Brown (now Nixon Peabody LLP) in Massachusetts. <\/p>\n

Thomas was an active volunteer and leader in the Beacon Hill Civic Association, the Hill House Community Center and the Beacon Hill Business Association during his \u201c37 years living in Boston,\u201d according to his bio on the International Integrators website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After decades of living in Boston with their daughter, Thomas and his wife retired to Mallorca in 2011 when Hilaria was 27 years old, thus making her on-again, off-again Spanish accent even more bizarre.<\/p>\n

Following Hilaria\u2019s accent expos\u00e9 by Twitter user @lenibriscoe, which was furthered by Tracie Egan Morrisey on Instagram, her stepdaughter Ireland Baldwin came forward to defend her stepmom. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s so pathetic that anyone would wanna play detective, and dig that deep into someone\u2019s life that they don\u2019t know, don\u2019t know anything about, how they were raised, who they were actually raised by. It\u2019s just kinda sad and pathetic,\u201d Ireland, 25,\u00a0said on her Instagram<\/a>\u00a0Story.<\/p>\n

Hilaria\u2019s husband, Alec Baldwin, also defended her fluctuating accent.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust a lot of s\u2014t,\u201d Alec\u00a0said on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cYou have to kind of hack your way through the debris of Twitter. Twitter is just a vast orchard of crap.\u201d\n <\/div>\n
