Amy Schumer took a jab at Hilaria Baldwin over her dubious Spanish accent amid accusations the Boston-born yoga guru has been faking her ancestry for years.<\/p>\n

\u201cI get it. I went to Spain a couple times and loved it too,\u201d the comedia<\/a>n, 39, wrote Sunday in a since-deleted Instagram post of a photo of herself in sunglasses and oversize beach hat.<\/p>\n

The post included a cucumber emoji \u2014 a thinly veiled reference to Baldwin, 36, \u201cforgetting\u201d the English word for the vegetable during a \u201cToday\u201d show segment.<\/p>\n

Schumer and Baldwin traded barbs last week after the comic jokingly posted a photo of a lingerie-clad Baldwin and her newborn, pretending the snap was of her and writing that she \u201cwanted to wish everyone a happ<\/a>y holiday season.\u201d<\/p>\n

Baldwin responded with a video about body-shamers \u2014 and promptly confused fans by breaking out in an American accent.<\/p>\n

Baldwin, who has five kids with actor Alec Baldwin, was forced to defend her fluctuating accent and questions about her heritage following a viral tweet from Leni Briscoe that read:\u00a0<\/a>\u201cYou have to admire Hilaria Baldwin\u2019s commitment to her decade long grift where she impersonates a Spanish person.\u201d<\/p>\n

In an Instagram video, Hilaria admitted that she was born in Beantown as \u201cHillary,\u201d claiming she\u2019d spent \u201csome of my childhood in Boston, some of my childhood in Spain.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, I am a white girl, my family is white,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Her agency biography, however, notes that the fitness buff \u201cwas born in Mallorca, Spain and raised in Boston, Massachusetts.\u201d<\/p>\n

Baldwin on Sunday also attempted to explain her ever-shifting accent, saying she too gets confused.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I\u2019ve been speaking a lot of Spanish, I tend to mix them or if I\u2019m speaking a lot of English, I mix that, it\u2019s one of those things I\u2019ve always been a bit insecure about,\u201d she said.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
