Even Superman has trouble raising a kid.<\/p>\n

In a minute-long teaser for the CW\u2019s upcoming series<\/a>, \u201cSuperman & Lois,\u201d a philosophical Man of Steel, played by Tyler Hoechlin (\u201cTeen Wolf\u201d), focuses his x-ray vision on his own stirring feelings as he raises two sons with wife Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch, \u201cGrimm\u201d).\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe all begin as one version of ourself, but as we grow, life changes us. Every moment shaping our character, shifting our priorities, stretching every fiber of our being until we think we\u2019ve lost ourselves to the stress of it all,\u201d says the native of Krypton, who goes by the incognito Clark Kent, in the teaser. <\/p>\n

\u201cBut that\u2019s not true because under the torn fibers is a stronger person, forged like steel, with the courage to fight for those we love.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to the official synopsis, the series \u2014 a spinoff of the network\u2019s \u201cCrisis on Infinite Earths\u201d crossover event in December 2019 \u2014 will take place in Superman\u2019s earthbound hometown, Smallville. <\/p>\n

It will follow Clark and Lois as they \u201ccome face-to-face with one of their greatest challenges ever \u2014 dealing with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today\u2019s society.\u201d <\/p>\n

Making things worse than raising a pubescent teen: Their sons, Jonathan (Jordan Elsass, \u201cLittle Fires Everywhere\u201d) and Jordan (Alexander Garfin, \u201cThe Peanuts Movie\u201d), may develop superpowers of their own down the road. Sounds way<\/em> more stressful than fighting off supervillains and monsters looking to kill everyone in Metropolis.<\/p>\n

Produced by Greg Berlanti, the show brings back Hoechlin\u2019s Superman, a character he first brought to the CW in the drama \u201cSupergirl.\u201d It also stars Emmanuelle Chriqui (\u201cEntourage\u201d), Erik Valdez (\u201cGraceland\u201d), Inde Navarrette (\u201cWander Darkly\u201d), Dylan Walsh (\u201cNip\/Tuck\u201d) and Wol\u00e9 Parks (\u201cAll American\u201d).\u00a0<\/p>\n

The series premiere will swoop in on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021, on the CW.\u00a0\u00a0\n <\/p><\/div>\n
