Josh Allen and company are widely\u00a0considered by NFL experts to have the best\u00a0chance\u00a0of denying the Chiefs another\u00a0Super\u00a0Bowl\u00a0appearance. The Brownies lost their receiving corps due to COVID, and lost to the J-E-T-S who in turn lost their chance at Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence. A lose, lose, lose but Baker Mayfield will get some weapons back this week and may see a Steeler \u201cD\u201d operating at half speed in a game Cleveland\u00a0has to have. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin isn\u2019t\u00a0likely to roll over, and remember\u00a0these are the Browns. They have\u00a0historically\u00a0come up short in these situations. Question is\u00a0who really wants to play? These two teams will be heading home after this inconsequential affair. Disappointing seasons\u00a0for both. Lions showed a little pride after head coach Matt Patricia was\u00a0canned but when quarterback\u00a0Matt Stafford limped off the field last week the Cats were eaten alive by Tom Brady and the Bucs 47-7 and it wasn\u2019t\u00a0that close. The Falcons are 4-11 but have scored 369 points, allowing\u00a0370 in a season replete with narrow gut-wrenching defeats. Tampa Bay on the other hand devoured the Lions to secure\u00a0a playoff berth but they can\u2019t catch the Saints. New Orleans locked up the South last week. Bettors beware. We can\u2019t\u00a0be sure if Brady\u2019s Bunch will play four quarters, leaving\u00a0an\u00a0opportunity for the pesky Falcons\u00a0to fly\u00a0in late and sneak in another backdoor cover behind a hot Matt Ryan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The pick:<\/strong> Buccaneers\u00a0by 1-3<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Packers_-45_at_Bears\"><\/span>Packers (-4.5) at Bears<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Tough leaving Lambeau Field with\u00a0a W. The road to the Super Bowl will have to go through Green Bay if the 12-3 Packers can clinch home-field advantage with a victory\u00a0against the rival Bears in Chicago. Aaron Rodgers, co-favorite to win NFL MVP honors along with\u00a0KC\u2019s Patrick Mahomes, put up 41 points\u00a0against the Bears overmatched \u201cD\u201d in\u00a0week 12. Enough incentive for an encore but the Bears are still in the playoff hunt.
