Why in the world couldn\u2019t we get more of this world? At the moment, both of these questions are well worth asking.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll be the first to admit that when the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> of the show ending was first announced earlier this year, we were personally shocked. This was not something we saw coming, as\u00a0<em>Riverdale\u00a0<\/em>is enormously popular and this was a show with a built-in audience. It seemed as though it was gaining with every passing episode.<\/p>\n<p>So what h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ened to get us here? It\u2019s always hard to tell since Netflix doesn\u2019t ever disclose the viewership numbers for any of its <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a>. They also have a pretty stable subscriber base and it can be hard to tell which shows move the needle and which don\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the cancellation, it\u2019s probably fair to assume that\u00a0<em>Sabrina\u00a0<\/em>wasn\u2019t one of Netflix\u2019s two or three most-popular shows, but there may have also been something more going on here beyond just viewership. The streaming service over the years has become more and more reluctant to have shows that come from studios with competitive products. In this case,\u00a0<em>Sabrina\u00a0<\/em>is a Warner Bros. TV show, and they have a rival streaming company in HBO Max. HBO Max has already aired one show set in this same universe in\u00a0<em>Katy Keene,\u00a0<\/em>and we saw not that long ago another WBTV series end its run on Netflix in\u00a0<em>Fuller House\u00a0<\/em>despite perceived popularity. Another in\u00a0<em>Lucifer\u00a0<\/em>will be ending with season 6.<\/p>\n<p>In the end, it\u2019s hard to be upset about\u00a0<em>Chilling Adventures of Sabrina\u00a0<\/em>getting two seasons split up into four \u201cparts\u201d \u2014 that\u2019s a generous amount of story. Yet, we know from executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (see below) that there was more story to tell.
