Publisher Lightning Game<\/a>s and developer ThinkingStars have delayed<\/a> the release of ANNO: Mutationem<\/em> from its previously planned December 2020 release window to Q3 2021 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The PlayStation 5 version is newly announced. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a very difficult decision, as we all love the game and cannot wait to get our players\u2019 hands on it, but we don\u2019t want to release the game until we feel it\u2019s ready, we plan to upgrade the overall experience of the game, which means that a large amount of game content must be re-planned and polished,\u201d Lightning Games said in a statement. \u201cAt the same time we will continue to optimize for next-gen.\u201d<\/p>\n

ANNO: Mutationem<\/em> is also coming to PC via Steam<\/a>, but specifics about a release date have yet to be announced.<\/p>\n

Our team wish to express our deepest apologies for having to make you wait a little longer for ANNO: Mutationem<\/em>. After several weeks of discussion, we decided to postpone the release date of the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, and PlayStation 5 versions to the third quarter of 2021.<\/p>\n
