We have reached out to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BittrexExchange?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@BittrexExchange<\/a> to request a meeting with their compliance team. Don\u2019t take my word for it\u2026 industry leading experts like Chainalysis and Perkins Coie agree.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ryan Taylor (@RTaylor05) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RTaylor05\/status\/1345158217823731714?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 2, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>While the seeming about-face has prompted jeers and criticism on Twitter, proponents have noted that Dash released guidance on the cryptocurrency\u2019s privacy features in <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dash.org\/2019\/08\/08\/dash-privacy-features\/\">August<\/a>. In a blog on the official Dash website, Taylor wrote that \u201cregulators are concerned that exchanges may be unable to comply with KYC \/ AML regulations when transacting coins with privacy features,\u201d because DASH is \u201coften found on lists of coins with privacy enhancements.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, Taylor wrote that Dash has largely been successful in convincing exchanges and regulators that Dash is not a privacy coin. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThrough a process of education, we have been effective in explaining the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> and convincing regulators that accepting Dash poses no incremental risk compared to Bitcoin.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The clarifications about Dash\u2019s core focus follow an announced upgrade to Dash moving to the testnet phase, an upgrade which will include DashPay, a \u201csocial crypto payments wallet.\u201d DASH is down 3% on the day to $87.71.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
