“#Fairy Tail Creator Hiro Mashima Shares His Top Video Game<\/a> Picks of 2020<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

While 2020 wasn't great for everything (a massive understatement, we know), there were still some bright spots in our year. Gamers got the chance to play some awesome new titles — and amongst said gamers is Hiro Mashima<\/strong>, creator of Fairy Tail<\/em><\/strong> and Edens Zero<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

To close out 2020, Mashima took to Twitter<\/a> to list off his games of the year<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. Making the list were Final Fantasy VII Remake<\/em><\/strong>, The Last of Us Part II<\/em><\/strong>, Ghost of Tsushima<\/em><\/strong>, Yakuza: Like a Dragon<\/em><\/strong>, and Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin<\/em><\/strong>. He also gave a nod to Spider-Man: Miles Morales<\/em><\/strong> and Assassin's Creed Valhalla<\/i><\/b>, which he is currently playing.<\/p>\n

Fans of Mashima's will likely be unsurprised at the inclusion of Final Fantasy VII Remake<\/em><\/strong>, as earlier this year he finished out the release<\/span><\/a> <\/strong>in a 2-day gaming marathon.<\/p>\n

Mashima then tweeted again<\/strong><\/span><\/a> with his mobile game picks of the year — in this case meaning mobile games he personally played this year, not limited to 2020 releases. His picks were Romancing Sa Ga Re;universe<\/em><\/strong> (which he has app<\/a>arently been playing since it first came out), Octopath Travel<\/a>er: Conquerors of the Continent<\/em><\/strong>, Toon Blast<\/em><\/strong>, and Genshin Impact<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The manga<\/a> creator sums up by saying he's looking forward to this year's Monster Hunter<\/em><\/strong> game.<\/p>\n
