For a family in Wales, 2021 is already looking up. <\/p>\n

Magdalena Klubczuk thought her beloved Shih Tzu, Roxy, was dead after the pooch disapp<\/a>eared from her garden eight years ago.<\/p>\n

Klubczuk spent weeks frantically searching for Roxy \u2014 her canine friend had both a microchip and a collar with an ID tag \u2014 but to no avail. <\/p>\n

\u201cI reported it to the vets,\u201d Klubczuk told The Sun<\/a>, \u201cbut I heard nothing and over time just gave up hope.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Then, on New Year\u2019s Eve, good news<\/a> to start the new year: A local animal called Klubczuk to tell her that Roxy had been found wandering the streets. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I received the phone call I told them it was not possible,\u201d she said. \u201cWe\u2019ve spent all these years thinking she was dead.\u201d<\/p>\n

Roxy and Owner and pet were reunited the next day. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt was such an emotional reunion,\u201d Klubczuk told The Sun. \u201cI felt like she recognized me when she saw me.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
