As Cointelegraph has previously reported, search volume for \u201cBitcoin\u201d is climbing in stride with the cryptocurrency\u2019s price. Likewise, \u201chow to buy bitcoin\u201d is soaring as well.<\/p>\n<p>Curiously, however, searches for \u201chow to buy Ethereum\u201d remain low, despite a 20% 24-hour surge to as high as $950 at press time:<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2021-01\/1ff81be1-2741-4c09-aec4-13599ece074a.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>Many have speculated that the rise is due to &#8220;FOMO&#8221; from institutions, which in turn is now seizing retail investors likewise caught in speculative mania.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
