Source: Coin360<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Id_take_Ether_bet_%E2%80%9Call_day_long%E2%80%9D_%E2%80%94_Winklevoss\"><\/span>I&#8217;d take Ether bet &#8220;all day long&#8221; \u2014 Winklevoss<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Data from Cointelegraph Markets, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/coin360.com\/\">Coin360<\/a> and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/ETHUSD\/\">TradingView<\/a> showed ETH\/BTC pass the essential 0.026 level in just one daily candle on Jan. 3.<\/p>\n<p>After staying weak throughout December, Ether has rebounded in the first few days of 2021, and Sunday&#8217;s performance could be the start of something much bigger. <\/p>\n<p>As Cointelegraph Markets analyst Micha\u00ebl van de Poppe noted last week, 0.026 BTC is a significant breakout point, and flipping it to support indicates &#8220;strength and continuation&#8221; of a bullish resurgence.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It\u2019s time for #Ethereum, #Polkadot, #Cardano, #Chainlink and more to break all-time highs,&#8221; he <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CryptoMichNL\/status\/1345659279727067138\">told<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> followers on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I do believe that we&#8217;re seeing money shift from BTC towards altcoins and that Ether has bottomed out on the BTC pair,&#8221; explained Van de Poppe. &#8220;So probably continuation of altseason in this quarter with the topping out of Bitcoin dominance.&#8221; He added:\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;But hey, a Bitcoin correction would be <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>reciated too.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2021-01\/0541fbbf-5a90-4f76-a39a-c19cd517824f.jpg\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>ETH\/BTC 1-day candle chart (Bitstamp). The last time that the pair traded at four figures was in January 2018.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;$ETH was the best performing asset (up 450%) of 2020 hands down and still below its all-time high,&#8221; Cameron Winklevoss, entrepreneur and co-founder of exchange Gemini, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cameron\/status\/1345148329840132097\">added<\/a> on Twitter. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Today it\u2019s the equivalent of 15K #Bitcoin I would take that bet all day long.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Altseason_is_here_at_least\"><\/span>Altseason is here at least?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>With the prospect of &#8220;altseason&#8221; now firmly back on the menu, top ten market cap altcoins are showing signs of life against Bitcoin.<\/p>\n<p><template data-name=\"subscription_form\" data-type=\"markets_outlook\"><\/template><\/p>\n<p>Litecoin (LTC) is up 18% against the largest cryptocurrency, while Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is 13.3% higher and Cardano (ADA) 9.7%.<\/p>\n<p>Even XRP, still struggling on the back of legal action against Ripple, is finding its feet again with 3.5% daily progress in BTC terms.
