The homeless Manhattan man charged in last week\u2019s strangulation rape of a 27-year-old woman had grabbed the throat of the mother of his child months earlier, according to police and court records. <\/p>\n

Elijah Kelly, 23 \u2014 who was busted Saturday in the New Year\u2019s Eve rape in Kips Bay \u2014 also \u201cjumped\u201d his own father in June, the documents claim.<\/p>\n

Kelly was released without bail in both cases, which are still pending, when he launched his latest attack, say cops and court records.<\/p>\n

He allegedly strangled his ex in Jamaica, Queens, on May 23, the records show.<\/p>\n

The woman, with whom he has a child, got an order of protection against Kelly in March. But that didn\u2019t stop him from allegedly attacking her two months later.<\/p>\n

The woman told cops that Kelly \u201cgrabbed her neck with one hand and app<\/a>lied pressure, making it difficult for her to breathe,\u201d according to a criminal complaint in the case. <\/p>\n

When the victim tried to use her phone to dial 911, Kelly allegedly smashed it on the ground, the complaint said. <\/p>\n

Kelly was charged with assault, criminal mischief, criminal contempt and aggravated harassment in that case. <\/p>\n

In the alleged attack on his dad, Kelly is accused of jumping the older man during an argument in Queens on June 25 and then stealing his father\u2019s mobile phone, according to a criminal complaint.<\/p>\n

Kelly, who was charged with harassment and petty larceny in that case, was already facing the charges related to allegedly attacking his ex at the time, the records show.<\/p>\n

Kelly attacked his latest victim at 30th Street and Third Avenue around 1 a.m. on New Year\u2019s Eve, cops said.<\/p>\n

Police said he posed as a delivery man and raped the woman when she opened her door \u2014 choking her while he attacked her. <\/p>\n

Kelly had most recently been living in a notorious homeless shelter that houses more than two dozen registered sex offenders, The Post revealed in a report Saturday.<\/p>\n

The Bellevue Men\u2019s Shelter has long been the subject of neighborhood complaints.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe shelter has been a problem for years and no one has done anything despite the neighborhood complaining,\u201d said local resident Linda Rosenberg, 43. \u201cThat side of First Avenue is desolate, so the city uses it like a dumping ground.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is very frightening,\u201d added neighborhood resident Tina Chin, 28. \u201cYou don\u2019t know who is who.\u201d <\/p>\n

Kelly is now being held on $100,000 cash bail or $300,000 bond.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
