A 19-year-old Fort Bliss soldier was reportedly found dead Thursday on the Texas Army base.<\/p>\n

Asia Graham, 19, a North Carolina native, was located inside her room in the barracks, officials told KHOU<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It was not immedia<\/a>tely clear how Graham died. An investigation into her death is ongoing, the news<\/a> outlet reported.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Graham, who joined the Army in July 2019, was assigned to the 1st Armored Division.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Her division mourned her death in a Saturday Facebook post<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cPFC Asia Graham was a valued member of the Iron Eagle Team,\u201d the Combat Aviation Brigade of the 1st Armored Division wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cHer loss is felt not just in our formations but across the Army. We lost a skilled human resource specialist who wanted nothing more than to serve her country and her battle buddies,\u201d the statement said.\u00a0\n <\/p><\/div>\n
