\n As sports leagues attempt to restart following shutdowns due to COVID-19, Dallas Cowboys\u2019 running back Ezekiel Elliott said he\u2019s still not ready to work out as he recovers from the virus \u2014 but expects that to change soon.<\/p>\n

Elliott said Wednesday on Twitch that he \u201chad one or two days where I felt symptoms \u2014 and even then it wasn\u2019t too bad.\u201d<\/p>\n

The running back added he \u201chad a cough and a little shortness of breath. Now I feel good, I feel normal.\u201d<\/p>\n

But the 24-year-old said he was being patient about a return to physical activity.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve got to wait,\u2019\u2019 Elliott said. \u201cI could\u2019ve [gone] and got re-tested this week, but I decided it wouldn\u2019t hurt to wait another week and just give myself more time to rest up. \u2026 But I feel good.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elliott was among the Cowboys and Houston Texans that tested positive earlier this month while in Texas, where cases of the coronavirus have spiked recently.<\/p>\n

After reports came out about Elliott\u2019s positive test, the running back expressed his displeasure with the results becoming public by tweeting \u201cHIPAA?\u201d in reference to the federal law that prohibits doctors from sharing personal medical information without a person\u2019s consent. The media<\/a> is not covered under the 1996 act.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
