Only one game at a time will be played at Lucas Oil Stadium.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       \u201cThis is a historic moment for NCAA members and the state of Indiana,\u201d NCAA President Mark Emmert said in <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncaa.org\/about\/resources\/media-center\/news\/ncaa-announces-further-details-2021-division-i-men-s-basketball-championship\" class=\"icon none\">a statement<\/a>. \u201cWe have worked tirelessly to reimagine a tournament structure that maintains our unique championship opportunity for college athletes. The reality of today\u2019s announcement was possible thanks to the tremendous leadership of our membership, local authorities and staff.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Championship weekend is still scheduled for April 3 and April 5. There was no mention of administering any vaccines to participants in the NCAA\u2019s public comments on the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is going to be complicated and difficult; there\u2019s no question about that,\u201d said  Dan Gavitt, the NCAA\u2019s senior vice president of basketball.\u00a0 \u201cWe <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>reciate the collaboration among the Men\u2019s Basketball Committee and staff, our hosts and local organizers, the staffs at each practice and competition venue, and our broadcast and corporate partners. We will all pull together and stage a terrific national championship.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Both the men\u2019s and women\u2019s college basketball tournaments were canceled in 2020, causing a massive financial loss for the NCAA and subsequently its member schools.<\/p>\n<p>The NCAA was set to distribute a total of $600 million to over 1,200 schools across all divisions before last year\u2019s cancellations, but ended up distributing $225 million instead.<\/p>\n<p>The women\u2019s basketball tournament\u2019s future is still murky as it wasn\u2019t mentioned in the NCAA\u2019s most recent public comments.<\/p>\n<p>Details on the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">travel<\/a>ing and lodging accommodations of the 67 teams participating in the tournaments are expected soon, but the NCAA has not laid out plans to construct a strict \u201cbubble\u201d system like the National Basketball Association did for its postseason in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The NCAA says fans may be in attendance but the decision has not yet been made.
