\nCongratulations!!! Emma Stone<\/strong> is pregnant, y\u2019all!<\/p>\n

Back in September, Emma made some headlines after making a rare public app<\/a>earance with fianc\u00e9\u00a0Dave McCary<\/strong>. The couple were quite private even before the pandemic, but during lockdown they\u2019ve been phantoms.<\/p>\n

So when they were photographed going for a walk \u2014 and both sporting gold bands \u2014 speculation ran rampant they had gone ahead and gotten married in a private ceremony. Additionally, the\u00a0Zombieland<\/em> star was wearing quite loose-fitting overalls. Certainly reasonable casualwear, especially in 2020 \u2014 but also oftentimes a flashing sign that announces pregnancy.<\/p>\n

Well, those who jumped to that conclusion got an extra piece of evidence a couple months later.<\/p>\n

In December Emma dropped out of Babylon<\/em>, the upcoming film being directed by La La Land<\/em> helmer Damian Chazelle<\/strong>, who had directed her to her\u00a0Oscar<\/strong> \u2014 and co-starring\u00a0Brad Pitt<\/strong>. Who could turn that down? Plus, the parties cited scheduling conflicts, which is almost never true in Hollywood. Stars with power make the time to do the projects they want to do. Also, Emma didn\u2019t seem to have any projects that could conflict\u2026 (Meanwhile she is reportedly being replaced by Margot Robbie<\/strong>, who has a GAZILLION things in development.)<\/p>\n

So that also got us wondering if she wouldn\u2019t be able to film due to maternity leave\u2026<\/p>\n

Well, today we have our answer! An\u00a0Us Weekly<\/em> source is straight up willing to confirm<\/em> the rumor and declare they know for a fact Emma has a bun in the oven! Not only that, the insider has all the deets; they claim:<\/p>\n

\u201cShe seems very happy and very excited about becoming a mother \u2014 she\u2019s constantly oohing and cooing. She looks great, she looks healthy, she\u2019s glowing. She\u2019s been keeping up with friends and work lately, she\u2019s always staying active and gets her daily exercise in.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Wow! Sounds like she\u2019s keeping super healthy! No wonder she doesn\u2019t want to step on a movie set, surrounded by people. Like most places in the US, Hollywood\u2019s record on COVID safety hasn\u2019t been the most reassuring.<\/p>\n

This would obviously be Emma\u2019s, as well as hubby (???) Dave\u2019s, first child. Speaking about the idea of having kids, back in 2018 she told then-bestie Jennifer Lawrence<\/strong> in an\u00a0Elle<\/em> interview:<\/p>\n

\u201cMy perspective about kids has changed as I\u2019ve gotten older. I never babysat or anything. As a teenager, I was like, I\u2019m never getting married, I\u2019m never having kids. And then I got older and I was like, I really want to get married, I really want to have kids.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

So we guess we shouldn\u2019t be too surprised. But that doesn\u2019t mean we can\u2019t get excited!<\/p>\n
