This followed a wild turn of events with him initially believing she had succumbed to her illness on Sunday, even speaking to outlets about her death. It was then quite the twist to learn through her publicist that she was still alive as of Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Months After Telling People Not To Practice Caution, Dr. Drew Has Covid<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Brien told <em>TMZ<\/em> how he received a phone call from one of her doctors just after 9 p.m. last night, where it was revealed the beloved actress had passed away.<\/p>\n<p>Our thoughts are obviously with him and her loved ones during this difficult time, as they also deal with the added emotion of mourning Roberts\u2019 passing, celebrating her being alive, and now this.<\/p>\n<p>The shocking story also saw O\u2019Brien in the middle of an <em>Inside Edition<\/em> interview earlier yesterday when he got the call from doctors stating she was still fighting for her life! The extremely emotional moment was captured by the outlet, with the former Bond girl\u2019s partner responding on the phone:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cNow, you\u2019re telling me she\u2019s alive?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Clearly shocked, he said through tears:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe hospital is telling me she is alive. They are calling me from the ICU team.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>It was also during this virtual interview that O\u2019Brien had told the outlet about what he thought were his final hours with the <em>That \u201970s Show<\/em> star:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWhen she saw me and I was there, I saw her eyes open. I felt good. I said, \u2018Hey, her eyes are opening. The publicist told <em>People<\/em> how the star registered O\u2019Brien\u2019s visit in the hospital, explaining that she \u201copened her eyes and saw him and tried to hug him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Understandably so, her partner was \u201cdistraught and exhausted\u201d after finding out she hadn\u2019t died.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe love of his life is passing away.
