It really depends how many absentee ballots,\u201d Raffensperger said in <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/video.foxnews.com\/v\/6220336576001#sp=show-clips\" class=\"icon none\">a Fox News interview<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>See:<\/strong> Georgia voters head to polls in pivotal runoffs \u2014 but it may be a long wait until winners are known <\/p>\n<p><strong>Also read:<\/strong> In Georgia\u2019s Chatham County, voters march to the polls on Election Day <\/p>\n<p>Betting markets and polls\u00a0on Tuesday were signaling some confidence in the prospects of  Democratic challengers Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, as they face off against incumbent Republican Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler.<\/p>\n<p>Republicans already control 50 seats following November\u2019s elections and can remain the majority party in the 100-seat Senate by winning just one of the two Georgia races. They then would provide a check on policies backed by Democratic President-elect Joe Biden and the Democratic-run House of Representatives. <\/p>\n<p>All voting didn\u2019t stop in Georgia at 7 p.m. Tuesday. A court order, for example, extended voting for about half an hour at two polling locations in Chatham County, according to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RicardoWSAV\/status\/1346593531482304512\" class=\"icon none\">local news reports<\/a>.
