It never came out, but she went all the way to San Diego in order to confront him. There was clearly an opportunity there, and Chrissy Metz tells <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/tv\/this-is-us-chrissy-metz-kate-abortion-decision-marc-confrontation\/\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a> that personally, she feels like that was an intention her character had before seeing that he hadn\u2019t changed:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Yeah. I think that she probably was going to share that, only to just say, \u201cThis is really what h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ened.\u201d But it\u2019s not even worth it. You can\u2019t [draw water] from an empty well, you know? He had nothing to give her, aside from an answer of who he\u2019s always shown her that he was. I do think that she had the intention of telling him when she was a teenager before she went through the procedure, but then she just realized \u2014 and I\u2019m so grateful, I\u2019m so glad \u2014he wouldn\u2019t even be able to support her in anything that she decided, no matter what the decision was. So she was strong enough then to say, \u201cYeah, I gotta go.\u201d And I do think that she had an intention of telling him when she confronted him at the music store, but then again [it] just affirmed that she already knew who he was.<\/p>\n<p>At this point, we don\u2019t think that we ever need to see Marc on the show again \u2014 Kate\u2019s been able to get what she wants off her back now, and she can start to move forward and heal. Is it possible that Marc somehow comes back and torments her more?
