As Cointelegraph reported last month, UC Berkeley has joined Uniswap\u2019s governance protocol as a way to showcase the group\u2019s research in the blockchain space. <\/p>\n<p>The Stanford Blockchain Club was <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/blockchain.stanford.edu\/\">founded<\/a> in 2014 as a student organization \u201cfor everything blockchain, cryptoeconomics, and cryptocurrency.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Stanford has carved out an active presence in blockchain-focused research. The university operates the Stanford Center for Blockchain Research, which \u201crings together engineering, law, and economics faculty, as well as post-docs, students, and visitors, to work on technical challenges in the field.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A peer-reviewed paper <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/web.stanford.edu\/~guillean\/papers\/uniswap_analysis.pdf\">called<\/a>, \u201cAn analysis of Uniswap markets\u201d also <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ears on Stanford\u2019s website. The paper gives a favorable view of the decentralized exchange, calling it \u201cstable under a wide range of market conditions.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Uniswap has grown to become the world\u2019s largest decentralized exchange by volume, according to data aggregator CoinMarketCap.
