After the Washington Football Team won in controversial fashion on Sunday night over the Eagles to clinch a playoff spot, rookie phenom Chase Young was caught on camera yelling, \u201cTom Brady, I\u2019m coming! I want Tom! I want Tom!\u201d<\/p>\n

Though some have scoffed at the idea of a rookie calling out a six-time Super Bowl champion and perhaps the greatest quarterback of all time \u2013 even Washington coach Ron Rivera said it would become \u201cbulletin board material\u201d for Brady ahead of their matchup \u2013 the edge rusher said on Wednesday that he has no regrets.<\/p>\n

\u201cI play ball,\u201d Young said, per ESPN<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m excited to go against the best. The media<\/a>, their job is to stir it up. If you know me, I\u2019m excited for every game<\/a>. Tom Brady, you think I\u2019m not excited to play against the GOAT? You trip<\/a>pin\u2019. I\u2019m not going to apologize for saying I want Tom. No, I want every quarterback I play against.\u201d<\/p>\n

Washington will play Brady\u2019s Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday night, and are currently heavy underdogs despite playing at home. Washington won the lowly NFC East with a 7-9 record, and the Bucs are the NFC\u2019s top wild card team at 11-5.<\/p>\n

Still, it app<\/a>ears the rookie Young is not afraid of the challenge.<\/p>\n

\u201cAsk any edge rusher in the league who they want to sack and most might say Tom Brady,\u201d Young said.<\/p>\n

The 43-year-old Brady called Young a \u201cgreat player\u201d and attributed the chatter to their college rivalry.<\/p>\n

\u201cWent to Ohio State, so naturally I think the Ohio State-Michigan thing wears off on \u2019em a little bit,\u201d Brady said. \u201cI understand that. We\u2019re prepared for a tough challenge, and it should be a fun game.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
