\n Longtime WWE announcer Renee Young announced on Twitter<\/a> that she tested positive for the coronavirus.<\/p>\n

\u201cMan. What a few days,\u201d Young tweeted late Wednesday night. \u201cMy show gets cancelled and get Covid. Wear your masks and wash your hands. Stay safe, everyone (heart emoji)\u201d<\/p>\n

Young\u2019s diagnosis likely explains why her husband, All Elite Wrestling world champion Jon Moxley, pulled himself from the company\u2019s live TV taping of \u201cAEW Dynamite\u201d on Wednesday night. AEW announced early Wednesday that Moxley notified the company he had been in the presence of someone who had been with someone with COVID-19. It\u2019s unclear if Moxley, 34, has contracted the virus.<\/p>\n

Multiple WWE employees \u2014 including in-ring talent \u2014 working at their performance center in Orlando tested positive for the coronavirus, according to multiple reports. Young, 34, had been working taped episodes for \u201cSmackDown on Fox\u201d at the performance center in the past weeks.<\/p>\n

WWE in a statement Wednesday said it would continue the coronavirus testing of \u201cits talent, production crew and employees in advance of TV productions for the foreseeable future.\u201d<\/p>\n

It has been a rough patch for Young. Recently the FS1 show \u201cWWE Backstage\u201d, which she hosts and also features CM Punk, was canceled by Fox Sports as a weekly show, according to multiple reports. It could still return in another form.<\/p>\n

As for Moxley, he\u2019s still scheduled to face Brian Cage at Fyter Fest. AEW announced on \u201cDynamite\u201d Wednesday that the heavyweight title bout is scheduled for July 8. Fyter Fest will be held over two nights (July 1 and July 8).\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
