“#100 gecs Remix Linkin Park\u2019s \u201cOne Step Closer\u201d: Listen<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

100 gecs have released a new remix of \u201cOne Step Closer<\/a>,\u201d the lead single from Linkin Park\u2019s 2000 debut album Hybrid Theory<\/em>, which celebrated its 20th anniversary last year. It\u2019s the first remix from a forthcoming series<\/a> of Hybrid Theory<\/em> remixes. Listen to \u201cOne Step Closer (100 gecs Reanimation)\u201d below.<\/p>\n

\u201cPart of the spirit of Reanimation<\/em> was to take the Hybrid Theory<\/em> songs that people knew so well, and let innovative artists flip them in ways nobody expected,\u201d Linkin Park\u2019s Mike Shinoda said in a press release. \u201cI think 100 gecs did exactly that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new 100 gecs \u201cReanimation\u201d follows the duo\u2019s holiday song \u201csympathy 4 the grinch,\u201d released late last year. They put out a remix album of their own, 1000 gecs & the Tree of Clues<\/em>, last summer.<\/p>\n

Linkin Park\u2019s most recent album, One More Light<\/em>, released in 2017, was their last to feature late frontman Chester Bennington.<\/p>\n
