Lucy Lawless, perhaps better known as \u201cXena: Warrior Princess,\u201d is kicking ass and naming names, as usual. <\/p>\n

Yesterday the New Zealand-born actor logged on to Twitter<\/a> and chose verbal violence \u2014 against fellow actor of mythic proportions Kevin Sorbo, whom many remember as television\u2019s \u201cHercules.\u201d The two \u201990s-era icons were known for their series<\/a> crossovers, in which the two characters would defeat all manner of folkloric monsters and fairy-tale villains. <\/p>\n

But in the real world, Lawless has set her sights on defeating a different kind of rival: baseless claims about the Capitol rioters. <\/p>\n

Sorbo tweeted a response to a surreal portrait of three protesters who rushed the Capitol, including prominent conspiracy theorist Jake Angeli, widely known as that<\/em> guy who app<\/a>eared in DC shirtless and heavily painted in red, white and blue, wearing a horned headdress, draped in fur. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey don\u2019t look like patriots to me,\u201d said Sorbo on Jan. 6, in a retweet shared by Rogan O\u2019Handley, a DC lawyer with #MAGA in his profile. \u201cDo these look like Trump supporters? Or Leftist agitators disguised as Trump supporters\u2026\u201d O\u2019Handley asked in his original tweet. <\/p>\n

\u201cNo, Peanut,\u201d Lawless responded \u2014 patronizingly \u2014 to Sorbo\u2019s retweet, going after his and O\u2019Handley\u2019s unfounded claims. \u201cThey are not Patriots. They are your flying monkeys, homegrown terrorists, QAnon actors. They are the douchebags that go out and do the evil bidding of people like you who like to wind them up like toys and let them do their worst.\u201d<\/p>\n

She concluded with the hashtags #KeepingYourFilthyHandsClean and #enabler. <\/p>\n

The original claim that the photo pictured disguised Antifa actors was also slapped with a warning from Twitter, reading in part, \u201cThere is no evidence so far to prove that Antifa activists were part of the mob that entered the building on Wednesday, according to fact-checkers from Snopes, PolitiFact, BuzzFeed News<\/a> and other organizations.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lawless\u2019 retort has since gone viral<\/a> with 42,000 likes and nearly 10,000 retweets \u2014 so well-liked that even her fans have garnered residuals. <\/p>\n

\u201cLucy Lawless, as badass as her namesake. Love her forever,\u201d wrote Timo Tjahjanto<\/a>, who has nearly 40,000 likes of his own based on Lawless\u2019 linguistic lashing. <\/p>\n

\u201cXena folding Hercules is the Content I\u2019m Here For\u2122,\u201d tweeted @valhallabckgirl<\/a>. Her praise, too, collected 32,000 likes. <\/p>\n

Comedian Patton Oswalt also shared a screenshot of the exchange with Sorbo. \u201cDAAAMN @RealLucyLawless,\u201d he tweeted<\/a>, alongside three \u201c100 points\u201d emojis.<\/p>\n
