\n Three veteran North Carolina cops have been fired after they were recorded making racist threats \u2014 with one calling for a civil war to \u201cstart slaughtering them f\u2014ing n\u2014ers,\u201d according to authorities.<\/p>\n

Corporal Jessie Moore and officers Kevin Piner and Brian Gilmore were caught making \u201cextremely racist comments\u201d by a colleague during a routine review of department audio, Wilmington police said Wednesday.<\/p>\n

In chats they seemingly did not realize had been recorded, Piner, 44, bragged about being \u201cready\u201d for civil war, saying he planned to buy an assault rifle, according to documents released by his force.<\/p>\n

\u201cGod, I can\u2019t wait,\u201d he said after his \u201cslaughtering\u201d comment.<\/p>\n

\u201cWipe \u2019em off the f\u2014ing map,\u201d Piner said. \u201cThat\u2019ll put \u2019em back about four or five generations,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Piner had started the racist diatribe by complaining that their force \u2014 whose new chief is black \u2014 was too concerned with \u201ckneeling down with the black folks,\u201d the documents show.<\/p>\n

Moore, 50, was heard calling an African American woman he arrested a \u201cnegro\u201d and the N-word, saying, \u201cShe needed a bullet in the head right then and move on. Let\u2019s move the body out of the way and keep going.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moore also complained about a \u201cf\u2014ing negro magistrate,\u201d saying that \u201c90 f\u2014ing percent\u201d of black people are just as bad. Gilmore, 48, meanwhile, complained about white protesters \u2014 including a \u201cfine looking white girl\u201d \u2014 \u201cworshiping blacks\u201d and \u201cbowing down and kissing their toes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Confronted, all three officers admitted it was their voices on the tapes \u2014 but claimed they were not racist, according to the documents.<\/p>\n

The officers \u2014 all members of the force more than 20 years \u2014 instead blamed the stresses of policing recent police-brutality protests, the documents say.<\/p>\n

Chief Donny Williams \u2014 who only took over on Tuesday \u2014 called the conversations \u201cbrutally offensive\u201d as he announced Wednesday that all three officers had been fired.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the most exceptional and difficult case I have encountered in my career,\u201d said Williams, who also asked state officials to review the men\u2019s law enforcement certifications.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors were also looking at potential criminal charges, he said, while also promising to review whether the officers had shown bias toward criminal defendants in the past.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are certain behaviors that one must have in order to be a police officer, and these three officers have demonstrated that they do not possess it,\u201d Williams said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I first learned of these conversations, I was shocked, saddened and disgusted. There is no place for this behavior in our agency or our city and it will not be tolerated.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
