She\u2019s been sprung by the courts, but not the fashion police.<\/p>\n

\u201cSoho Karen\u201d Miya Ponsetto gained national notoriety last month after she was arrested for attacking a 14-year-old black boy who she wrongfully accused of stealing her iPhone. Now, the 22-year-old Californian has been accused of another crime: Wearing sandals with socks, and other \u201ctrash\u201d attire.<\/p>\n

In various photos, the little hellion can be seen sporting a ragtag assortment of crop tops, Birkenstocks, black socks and leggings befitting a college student on laundry day, as pointed out by Twitter<\/a>. She was even photographed wearing the egregious get-up at a Manhattan police precinct Saturday, shortly before she was arraigned for attempted assault on Keyon Harrold Jr.<\/p>\n

Needless to say, social media was not impressed with \u201cSoho Karen\u2019s\u201d sartorial choices. <\/p>\n

\u201cWho app<\/a>ears in front of a judge dressed in a crop top?\u201d wrote one Twitter critic<\/a> of the fashion faux pas. \u201cThis piece of trash, that\u2019s who.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think I\u2019ve found my next Halloween costume,\u201d quipped one wit on a pic<\/a> of her sporting her trademark \u201cuniform\u201d \u2014 ankle shackles included \u2014 while strutting on her perp walk.<\/p>\n

Another wrote, \u201cDoes she not have real clothes? She only has one look and no shoes? What a cartoon character.\u201d<\/p>\n

To be fair, Ponsetto has switched up her wardrobe on certain occasions. During an interview with Gayle King last week before her arrest, the former cheerleader donned a black baseball cap<\/a> bearing the word \u201cDaddy\u201d<\/a> \u2014 an item plentiful on retailers like Etsy<\/a> \u2014 against her attorney\u2019s wishes.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, footage shows her wearing jeans and a belt in lieu of her trademark leggings while tussling with cops during a DUI arrest in the weeks prior to the phone fiasco. She did, however, still sport her signature tattered Birkenstocks and cutoff top. <\/p>\n

Unfortunately, it appears that Ponsetto won\u2019t be trading in her cringe-worthy outfit for an orange jumpsuit anytime soon. She was released from NYPD custody last week. <\/p>\n

Her next court date to face attempted assault, attempted robbery, endangering the welfare of a child and grand larceny in the fourth degree charges is March 29. She remains on supervised release for her alleged attack on Harrold, which many deemed a racially motivated incident.<\/p>\n

Ponsetto said that she couldn\u2019t be considered a racist due to her ethnicity. \u201cI\u2019m Puerto Rican,\u201d\u00a0the persona non grata\u00a0told King. \u201cI\u2019m, like, a woman of color. I\u2019m Italian, Greek, Puerto Rican.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
