“#No Time to Die Release Date Likely to Change Again \u2013 \/Film<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

When will it be time to see\u00a0No Time to Die<\/em><\/strong>? App<\/a>arently, the answer is, \u201cFall 2021, maybe?\u201d The latest James Bond adventure has already had its release date shuffled around before, and currently, it\u2019s sitting on an April 2021 release date. But multiple sources are reporting that the film is all but certain to move again \u2013 likely to sometime in the fall. While this news<\/a> will no doubt disappoint Bond fans, it can hardly come as a surprise at this point.<\/p>\n

No Time to Die<\/em>, Daniel Craig<\/strong>\u2018s final outing as 007, was originally supposed to hit theaters in April 2020. Of course, the COVID-19 pandemic got in the way of that idea, and the film was pushed to a November 2020 release date. At the time, many were hoping the world would\u2019ve gotten the pandemic under control by then. But of course, as we all know now, that didn\u2019t happen. As a result,\u00a0No Time to Die<\/em> was pushed yet again \u2013 to April 2021.
\nBut even though there\u2019s now a vaccine in play, the virus continues to be a serious concern. The UK, one of the major markets for Bond, has just entered its third lockdown since this all began, and here in the United States, the rollout of the vaccine has been lackluster and uncoordinated. As a result, it looks like\u00a0No Time to Die<\/em> is about to get moved again.<\/p>\n

Rumors of the move started this week when\u00a0Dutch exhibitor Carlo Lambregts claimed the film was vacating its April release for November. I reached out to publicists handling the film to get a confirmation, but have yet to hear back. In the meantime, Deadline is now reporting that \u201cseveral sources\u201d are reporting the release date change is imminent, although studio MGM still has no comment on the matter.<\/p>\n

MGM also reportedly streamed\u00a0No Time to Die<\/em> for several streaming services, but the studio was asking for $600 million for streaming rights, and no services wanted to pony up that kind of cash. With all of this in mind, it\u2019s all but certain\u00a0No Time to Die<\/em> will stick to an exclusive theatrical release \u2013 we just don\u2019t know\u00a0when<\/em> that theatrical release will happen. November is probably a good bet, but we\u2019ll have to wait and see.<\/p>\n

The 25th Bond film,\u00a0No Time to Die<\/em> will bring an end to Daniel Craig\u2019s reign as the super-spy.\u00a0Cary Joji Fukunaga<\/strong> directs the pic, and the filmmaker also contributed to the script with writers\u00a0Neal Purvis<\/strong>, Robert Wade<\/strong>, and\u00a0Phoebe Waller-Bridge<\/strong>. In addition to Craig,\u00a0No Time to Die<\/em> features\u00a0L\u00e9a Seydoux<\/strong>, Ben Whishaw<\/strong>, Naomie Harris<\/strong>, Jeffrey Wright<\/strong>, Christoph Waltz<\/strong>, Rory Kinnear<\/strong>, Ralph Fiennes<\/strong>, Rami Malek<\/strong>, Lashana Lynch<\/strong>, Ana de Armas<\/strong>, and Billy Magnussen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
