He correctly predicted that it may have been the \u201clast chance\u201d to download certain social media apps. Larimer recently quit his position as CTO at EOSIO developers block.one, vowing to work on censorship-resistant platforms which he believes will become increasingly important as more people find themselves banned or suspended from traditional platforms.<\/p>\n<p>Other crypto projects are wary of the centralized nature of tech giants like Amazon and anticipate problems relying upon them. The decentralized liquidity network THORChain, for example, incentivizes nodes running its software to avoid AWS by<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/s\/thorchain\"> awarding<\/a> them extra perks for using alternative service providers.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Thorchain continues to decentralize.<\/p>\n<p>Thornodes are incentivized not to run on AWS, due to concerns about centralization.<\/p>\n<p>250 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24RUNE&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$RUNE<\/a> this week. Pirate academic journal archivists Sci-Hub switched DNS providers using Handshake, as <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/VitalikButerin\/status\/1348894473942568961\">mentioned<\/a> by Buterin.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">For now.
