A New Jersey congresswoman accused some lawmakers of leading groups around the Capitol for \u201creconnaissance\u201d a day before the riot carried out by a pro-Trump mob.<\/p>\n

New Jersey Rep. Mikie Sherrill said in a Tuesday night Facebook<\/a> live address to her constituents that she witnessed the alleged exploratory tours.<\/p>\n

The unidentified members of Congress \u201chad groups coming through the Capitol\u201d in \u201ca reconnaissance for the next day,\u201d Sherrill said.<\/p>\n

In the over 13-minute video, Sherrill said she intends to see those lawmakers \u201care held accountable, and if necessary, ensure that they don\u2019t serve in Congress.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sherrill did not identify the lawmakers, or provide any further information about what constituted reconnaissance.<\/p>\n

She did recall her account of the Capitol siege, and explained to constituents steps the House is taking to impeach President Trump.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
