Somebody needs to put this \u201cBaby\u201d in a corner.<\/p>\n

An intoxicated dance teacher redefined \u201cbreakdancing\u201d after landing horribly on her head while trying to re-create Baby and Johnny\u2019s iconic lift from \u201cDirty Dancing\u201d with her boyfriend. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt all just went so quickly,\u201d said Millie Slennett, 25, about the bone-crunching moment that has since gone viral.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t have my professional cap on,\u201d the Sydney, Australia native told Kennedy News<\/a>. \u201cWe\u2019d had a few drinks \u2014 but I think having some in my system perhaps helped my fall because I was a little bit more relaxed.\u201d<\/p>\n

The bungled boogie began after Millie challenged her sister Rosie, 19, to a dance-off in their family\u2019s garden. They wanted to see who could better replicate the high-flying sequence from the 1987 movie <\/a>\u201cDirty Dancing,\u201d in which Patrick Swayze\u2019s Johnny hoists Jennifer Grey\u2019s Baby above his head while \u201980s hit \u201cI\u2019ve Had the Time of My Life\u201d plays. <\/p>\n

Millie was confident she and her boyfriend, 6-foot-1 Conner Justin, \u201chad it in the bag\u201d as she was a dance teacher and her sister is just a fashion designer. Also, her sibling\u2019s attempt was \u201cterrible,\u201d according to Millie. <\/p>\n

In the 23-second video<\/a> shot by her sister, things started out promisingly with the dance pro making a running leap into Justin\u2019s arms, whereupon he lifts her above his head so she\u2019s parallel to the ground. <\/p>\n

\u201cI thought we\u2019d nailed it,\u201d recalled Millie, who also hosts \u201cThe Dance Pod\u201d<\/a> podcast, of her not-so-triumphant moment in the spotlight. <\/p>\n

However, their re-creation goes awry after she topples over her beau\u2019s shoulders and lands on her head, causing her neck and body to bend back violently like a folding chair. <\/p>\n

\u201cI kept trying to lift my legs higher and then they got above my head,\u201d said the choreographer, who practices various dance sequences at home with Justin. \u201cIt went from fine to not fine within like 0.3 seconds.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so lucky. It could have been so much worse \u2026 I could have died.\u201d<\/p>\n

At that point, Rosie stopped filming and her family rushed over to see if Millie could still move her limbs. <\/p>\n

The impromptu stunt woman later reported to the hospital, where CT scans revealed that she\u2019d miraculously escaped any damage other than bruising. After reviewing the accident footage, doctors were surprised she could walk at all. <\/p>\n

\u201cI know I\u2019m so lucky. It could have been so much worse,\u201d Millie said. \u201cI could have snapp<\/a>ed my neck or done damage to my spine. I could have died.\u201d<\/p>\n

Instagram viewers were equally flummoxed over how she managed to emerge from the stunt unscathed. <\/p>\n

\u201cWOW!!!!!! So glad you are ok, that is so extreme,\u201d exclaimed one relieved commenter about the \u201cUnbreakable\u201d-evoking saga.<\/p>\n

Another wrote, \u201cOmg Millie, my toes curdled, my tummy flipped. I shut my eyes. Terrifying!\u201d<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, the shocking clip reportedly upset Millie\u2019s father so much that he vows to delete it from his phone. <\/p>\n

As for the dance routine, Millie said she \u201cwouldn\u2019t recommend trying it after a couple of drinks.\u201d <\/p>\n
