But, if you\u2019d like to give an extension permission to work in private browsing mode, it\u2019s easy to do. Here\u2019s how.<\/p>\n<p>First, open \u201cChrome.\u201d Click the \u201cExtensions\u201d icon in the toolbar, which looks like a puzzle piece. Click the switch beside it to turn it on.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"admonishment_warning\"><p><strong>Warning:<\/strong> Extensions you enable in Incognito Mode may record your browsing history or other private details and could potentially share that data with a third party. They\u2019ll work just like they will in standard browsing mode.
