“#How to Enable an Extension in Chrome\u2019s Incognito Mode”<\/strong><\/p>\n

By default, Google Chrome does not run extensions in Incognito mode because they could potentially compromise your privacy. But, if you\u2019d like to give an extension permission to work in private browsing mode, it\u2019s easy to do. Here\u2019s how.<\/p>\n

First, open \u201cChrome.\u201d Click the \u201cExtensions\u201d icon in the toolbar, which looks like a puzzle piece. When a menu pops up, select \u201cManage extensions.\u201d<\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t see a puzzle piece button in the menu bar, click the vertical ellipses button (three vertical dots) and select More tools > Extensions from the menu.<\/p>\n

When the Extensions tab app<\/a>ears, locate the name of the extension you\u2019d like to enable in Incognito mode and click the \u201cDetails\u201d button beside it.<\/p>\n

\"On<\/p>\n

On the extension\u2019s details page, scroll down and locate the \u201cAllow in incognito\u201d option. Click the switch beside it to turn it on.<\/p>\n

Warning:<\/strong> Extensions you enable in Incognito Mode may record your browsing history or other private details and could potentially share that data with a third party. They\u2019ll work just like they will in standard browsing mode. Make sure you absolutely trust the extension before giving it access to your private browsing.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\"In<\/p>\n

If you need to do the same with any other extensions, click the back button once, then visit each extension\u2019s \u201cDetails\u201d page.\u00a0Enable \u201cAllow in incognito\u201d for each extension you\u2019d like to use in Incognito mode.<\/p>\n

When you\u2019re done, close the \u201cExtensions\u201d tab and the setting will take effect immedia<\/a>tely. You\u2019ll be able to use the extensions you enabled in Incognito mode, and they will still be active in non-private browsing mode as well. Happy browsing!<\/p>\n
