This would have been a chance to introduce Ryan Wilder to the larger world and because of that, there was a\u00a0<em>ton\u00a0<\/em>of excitement around it.<\/p>\n<p>Alas, this crossover is no longer happening \u2014 per a report from <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/tvline.com\/2021\/01\/14\/batwoman-season-2-javicia-leslie-arrowverse-crossover\/\">TVLine<\/a>. This is not <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> that we are particularly shocked about, mostly because of the added risks of mixing casts and crews with each other during a deadly pandemic. At the time this was planned, there was probably a greater hope that the world would be a little safer at this point. Unfortunately, it\u2019s clear by now that this is not happening.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, here is some of what <i>Batwoman <\/i>executive producer Caroline Dries had to say about nixing crossovers for the time being \u2014 and her sadness about not being able to feature Kara Danvers from\u00a0<em>Supergirl\u00a0<\/em>on her show, either:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cWe\u2019re not really able to cross over because physically, we can\u2019t cross crews due to the fear of exposure to COVID \u2026 So if <em>Supergirl<\/em>\u00a0weren\u2019t ending this year, I would say there would be more of a possibility. But I\u2019m afraid that at least this year, we\u2019re not going to be able to tap into that dynamic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We imagine that once we\u2019re fully on the other side of the pandemic, there will be a much greater chance that we\u2019ll be able to see more crossovers on a regular basis. Ultimately, though, we\u2019re fine with it being a while until it happens again.
