Now, seven years later, it <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ears that\u2019s finally happening with <em><strong>I Care a Lot<\/strong><\/em>, a new film in which she plays a scam artist who preys on elderly people but ends up selecting the wrong target to mess with. And thankfully, it looks like she\u2019s having an absolute blast on screen again. Check out the newest trailer for the film below.<span id=\"more-653910\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"I_Care_a_Lot_Trailer\"><\/span>I Care a Lot Trailer<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"I Care a Lot | Official Trailer | Netflix\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/D40uHmTSPew?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t get me wrong, Pike has done some solid work in her post-<em>Gone Girl<\/em> career \u2013 she earned strong notices for her work in <em>A Private War<\/em>, for example. But I think she\u2019s at her best when she\u2019s working with heightened material, and this looks like the first time she\u2019s truly back in pulp thriller mode. I can\u2019t wait to see her chew up the scenery again.<br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post -->Pike plays Marla, a grifter who has figured out how to take advantage of old people by dumping them in assisted living facilities, selling all of their stuff, and pocketing the cash. <strong>Dianne Wiest<\/strong> plays Jennifer, who at first seems to be the perfect mark \u2013 but it turns out Jennifer knows a local crime lord played by <strong>Peter Dinklage<\/strong>, who does not approve of Marla\u2019s tactics and is more than happy to explain that to Marla in a painful, unpleasant way.\u00a0<strong>Eiza Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong> and <strong>Chris Messina<\/strong> round out the cast, and the film is written and directed by <strong>J Blakeson<\/strong>, the filmmaker behind <em>The Disappearance of Alice Creed<\/em> and the young adult sci-fi film <em>The 5th Wave<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Sadly, our reviewer Jason Gorber, who saw this at last year\u2019s Toronto International Film Festival, said the movie \u201cfails on every possible level.\u201d Instead of capitalizing on the excellent premise, his review states, \u201cwe get a near slapstick, maudlin, repulsive film that tries to go towards the dark side only to dance around its most dastardly aspects. Pike\u2019s performance is two-dimensional and drifting, never once feeling driven by anything other than bristling ambition.
