Ya, it\u2019s h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ening. <\/p>\n<p>Soon the top 10 will be ETH, BTC and DeFi.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 eric.eth (@econoar) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/econoar\/status\/1350418340418707457?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 16, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>If the past week is any indication, the wider market appears to have finally woken up to the incongruities. SNX and AAVE are up 40% and 74% on the week, both topping $2.3 billion by marketcap and eclipsing layer-1s such as Tezos and Tron.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24AAVE&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$AAVE<\/a> have a higher market cap than <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24TRX&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$TRX<\/a> and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24XTZ&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$XTZ<\/a> now according to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/coingecko?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@coingecko<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve maintained this view since late 2019 that top DeFi crypto will gradually overtake these old layer 1 coin in the top 20 spot by mcap.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Arthur on Tech (@Arthur_0x) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Arthur_0x\/status\/1350364021048819712?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 16, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The moves follow promising developments for both projects. Aave has a proposal in the works that, if approved by governance, will alter the $370 million Safety Module to potentially create a whole new insurance product line, while Synthetix has been buoyed by the launch of a layer-2 scaling solution.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s more, some think this could be just the start for DeFi assets as a new \u201calt szn\u201d dawns. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">(17\/27) Indeed, even if no new money enters the space, we see this repricing being corrected by the market as money flows towards the only vertical in crypto showing signs of product market fit<\/p>\n<p>However, it will be a bumpy ride as you can&#8217;t have massive upside without volatility<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Jos\u00e9 Maria Macedo (@ZeMariaMacedo) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ZeMariaMacedo\/status\/1303656363357278208?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 9, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile this is an important milestone, it is only the beginning of a trend we\u2019ve been talking about for a while,\u201d said Delphi Digital partner Jos\u00e9 Macedo in an interview with Cointelegraph. \u201c[&#8230;] In terms of where this is going, the TAM for consumer finance is $3.2T. We see the value prop for DeFi as doing to finance what the internet did to data; transforming financial primitives into \u201cMoney Legos\u201d and creating an open ecosystem that enables permissionless innovation across the stack.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a long-term view that could have accomplishments like reaching the top 20 by cryptocurrency rankings seem like a pittance, but Macedo warns that the road to reaching such lofty goals won\u2019t necessarily be a smooth one:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>While the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a> direction is clear, it\u2019s worth remembering that you cannot have massive upside without volatility.
