Parler CEO John Matze expects his controversial social<\/a> network to get back online soon despite Amazon booting the app<\/a> from its servers.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m confident that by the end of the month, we\u2019ll be back up,\u201d Matze told Fox News<\/a> Sunday night.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery day it changes wildly, but I feel confident now,\u201d he added. \u201cWe\u2019re making significant progress.\u201d<\/p>\n

Matze\u2019s outlook for Parler\u2019s future has improved since last week, when he said in a federal court filing that his company faced the \u201cprospect of permanent destruction\u201d after Amazon Web Services forced it to go dark.<\/p>\n

AWS cut off Parler\u2019s server access last Monday over concerns about the fledgling firm\u2019s failure to police graphic threats of violence that its users posted before and after the Jan. 6 Capitol riots.<\/p>\n

But Parler got its website back online Sunday after appearing to move its domain name to Epik, a web company that has generated controversy for hosting extremist content. Parler posted a message on the site promising the app\u2019s \u201clovers and haters\u201d that it would be back soon. <\/p>\n

Additionally, Matze told Fox that Parler was able to recover its data from Amazon on Friday, which he called a key step toward rebuilding.<\/p>\n

\u201cDespite all of this, we haven\u2019t even had one employee quit,\u201d Matze told Fox. \u201cNot one, even with them being harassed and threatened, no one has quit\u2026 we\u2019ve got such a strong team, this has just made them believe in us more.\u201d<\/p>\n

Parler has filed a federal lawsuit against Amazon Web Services accusing the tech giant of forcing the app offline because of \u201cpolitical animus.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amazon\u2019s move \u2014 which followed Apple and Google\u2019s decisions to halt downloads of Parler\u2019s mobile app \u2014 led other tech giants such as Slack and Strip<\/a>e to drop Parler as a client, further hampering its operations, Matze has said.<\/p>\n

Amazon did not immediately respond to a request for comment Monday.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
