A man was slashed in the back inside a Manhattan subway station on Monday night, police said.<\/p>\n

The victim was assaulted by another man at about 6:30 p.m. on the Q train platform at Times Square-42nd Street station, authorities said.<\/p>\n

It was not immedia<\/a>tely what motive, if any, there was for the attack.<\/p>\n

Police said the victim was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

The suspect, believed to be 25 to 30 years old, fled the scene. He was last seen wearing black boots, black pants and a black jacket, police said.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
