This year, director <strong>Joe Carnahan<\/strong> (<em>The Grey<\/em>, <em>The A-Team<\/em>) is mixing up the time loop formula at Hulu in another way by giving us big, brutal action sequences in <strong><em>Boss Level<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Frank Grillo<\/strong> (<em>Captain America: The Winter Soldier<\/em>, <em>The Purge: Anarchy<\/em>) stars in <em>Boss Level<\/em> as a special forces agent who is being forced to relive the day of his murder over and over again. Sick of being blown up, stabbed, dragged, set on fire, shot and decapitated, he finally gets some outside help in order to survive so he can stop this endless loop of death and save his ex-wife (<strong>Naomi Watts<\/strong>). But he\u2019ll have to face <strong>Mel Gibson<\/strong> in order to do it. Watch the <em>Boss Level<\/em> trailer below.<span id=\"more-654395\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Boss_Level_Trailer\"><\/span>Boss Level Trailer<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fvs0-jmZVaU\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fvs0-jmZVaU<\/a><br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post -->We can take or leave Mel Gibson being the bad guy in this movie, but the action looks spectacularly over the top and brutally fun. It feels like <em>Boss Level<\/em> is trying to be a video <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> movie without actually being based on a video game in the same fashion as <em>Scott Pilgrim vs the World<\/em> or the upcoming <em>Free Guy<\/em> with Ryan Reynolds. Even the title refers to video game terminology, but there\u2019s no evidence of video games playing any part in the concept other than dying and coming back to life.<\/p>\n<p>Otherwise, I wish the colors in this movie weren\u2019t so muted so the visual style might fit the wild action. The movie feels like it\u2019s being presented through a projector with a dim bulb, so much that the colors of the text bumpers in between feel like they\u2019re popping out of a comic book. Carnahan really should have brought some of his <em>Smokin\u2019 Aces<\/em> color palette into this movie. But hopefully the action will make up for it.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the official synopsis for <em>Boss Level<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Tr<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ed in a time loop that constantly repeats the day of his murder, former special forces agent Roy Pulver (Frank Grillo) uncovers clues about a secret government project that could unlock the mystery behind his untimely death.
