An Arkansas Taco Bell employee was fired recently after a customer filed a formal complaint that the woman was doing internet porn, according to a report.<\/p>\n

Lonna Wells, 33, took a job at the Mexican fast-food chain\u2019s only Newport, Arkansas, location after she stopped performing in porn shoots to avoid catching COVID-19, The Daily Beast reported<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Her work has been featured on PornHub, netting Wells two AVN Award nominations \u2014 known colloquially as the \u201cOscars of Porn.\u201d Wells also maintains an OnlyFans page.<\/p>\n

She had been on the job less than a week when she received the news<\/a> in a morning phone call from her manager, mere minutes before clocking in.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey couldn\u2019t have even given me a heads-up, or waited until I got there to say something,\u201d\u00a0Wells said in an interview with The Daily Beast.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just started bawling. I don\u2019t know if it was because I was upset, or I was ticked, or a little bit of both.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Wells, she had informed the hiring manager, April Garcia, about her experience as an online sex worker during the interview process. <\/p>\n

\u201cI was very open about it and said, \u2018Hey, this is what I do as a job right now and I\u2019ve been doing it since 2017, is this going to cause any problems,\u201d Wells said.<\/p>\n

She claims Garcia told her, \u201cIt\u2019s not going to cause any problems. Whatever you do in your spare time is your business.\u201d<\/p>\n

Taco Bell later issued a statement claiming that Wells had not been fired over her past sex work, but due to a violation of the store\u2019s \u201cpolicies and procedures.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTaco Bell team members come from diverse backgrounds and experiences and all are welcome into the Taco Bell family,\u201d the statement reads.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis former team member worked for a franchise location and the franchisee has informed us that the accusations made are not accurate and that she was instead terminated for violation of their policies and procedures.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
