Here\u2019s what each category means.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Quality Updates:<\/strong> These are regular major updates to the Windows 10 operating system itself.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Driver Updates:<\/strong> These are updates to drivers that let you use devices with your system.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Definition Updates:<\/strong> These are updates to Microsoft Defender anti-malware that add new information about emerging threats so they can be detected by Windows.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Other Updates:<\/strong> These are miscellaneous updates that don\u2019t fit in the other three categories.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By default, some of the categories may be collapsed. If you\u2019d like more information about a particular update, click its link and a browser will open.
