The cause of death has yet to be revealed, but <em>Babylon 5<\/em> creator <strong>J. Michael Straczynski<\/strong> wrote on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a><\/strong> that \u201cfor some time now\u2026 [her] health was failing.\u201d She was 65 years old.<\/p>\n<p>Mira\u2019s family confirmed her passing on Twitter with a quote from the late star:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI look at the stars. It\u2019s a clear night and the Milky Way seems so near. That\u2019s where I\u2019ll be going soon. \u2018We\u2019re all star stuff,\u2019 I suddenly remember Delenn\u2019s line from Joe\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">script<\/a>. Not a bad prospect. I am not afraid. In the meantime, let me close my eyes and sense the beauty around me. And take that breath under the sky full of stars. Breathe in. Breathe out. He shared, in part:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWhen Mira Furlan came to audition for <em>Babylon 5<\/em>, her home country of Yugoslavia was in turmoil and shattering into two separate countries. During our first meeting, we spoke about her work and her life, and I learned that she had been part of a touring theater group that continued to cross borders of the disintegrating country despite receiving death threats from both sides in the civil war.<\/p>\n<p>I expressed my admiraton [sic] for her courage, but she shrugged and waved it off. \u2018What\u2019s the worst that could have happened? Yes, they could have killed me. So what? Art should have no borders.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Mira was clearly an artist of integrity and strength. We\u2019ll be keeping her and her family in our thoughts.
