The longstanding feud between Nets star Kevin Durant and hoops Hall of Famer Charles Barkley may never end. <\/p>\n

In response to Barkley saying that athletes \u201cdeserve some preferential treatment\u201d with coronavirus vaccines because they pay high taxes, Durant responded on Instagram, \u201cI don\u2019t know why they still ask for this idiot\u2019s opinion.\u201d <\/p>\n

The NBA has said it won\u2019t jump the line to get its players inoculated. <\/p>\n

On Friday, Durant app<\/a>eared to take another shot at Barkley, writing on Instagram, \u201cThem old heads need to go enjoy retirement.\u201d <\/p>\n

Durant was responding to a social media<\/a> post that asked why players today are \u201cso sensitive\u201d when given constructive criticism by legends of the game<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Barkley, an analyst for TNT\u2019s \u201cInside the NBA,\u201d has been a critic of Durant ever since the 32-year-old forward signed with the Golden State Warriors in 2016 \u2014 a move bemoaned by many because the former MVP was joining a team that won 73 games the season prior. <\/p>\n

Durant won two championships in three seasons with the Warriors before signing a four-year, $164 million contract with the Nets in 2019. <\/p>\n

Earlier this season, Barkley told Durant\u2019s teammate and close friend Kyrie Irving to \u201cshut the hell up and talk basketball\u201d after Irving temporarily boycotted the media.<\/p>\n

A week later, Barkley conducted a postgame interview with Durant, who showed his displeasure with the 57-year-old by holding his head down and responding with one-word answers.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
