{"id":161887,"date":"2021-01-24T09:28:40","date_gmt":"2021-01-24T06:28:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/washington-state-cop-reportedly-runs-over-pedestrian\/"},"modified":"2021-01-24T09:28:40","modified_gmt":"2021-01-24T06:28:40","slug":"washington-state-cop-reportedly-runs-over-pedestrian","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/washington-state-cop-reportedly-runs-over-pedestrian\/","title":{"rendered":"#Washington state cop reportedly runs over pedestrian"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Washington state cop reportedly runs over pedestrian<\/strong>&#8221;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/01\/Police_Lights-7.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>A police officer in Washington state was caught on video ramming his marked SUV into a crowd and running over a pedestrian Saturday night.  <\/p>\n<p>The disturbing incident h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ened in downtown Tacoma, where some 100 people had gathered to watch cars race at around 6 p.m., <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kiro7.com\/news\/local\/pedestrian-run-over-by-tacoma-police-officer-surrounded-by-crowd\/L5RO4UWXYNEKVOCEC2PP3XBOWA\/\">KIRO7 reported<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Cops arrived after 6:20 p.m. and one police cruiser was im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely surrounded by a crowd of pedestrians, some of whom banged on the windows, Tacoma police said. <\/p>\n<p>Videos on social media shows the police SUV backing up briefly, then<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jasonjgauthier\/status\/1353185183512465410\"> plowing forward into the crowd<\/a>, knocking several pedestrians down to the ground and appearing to run over at least one of them. <\/p>\n<p>The SUV then drives away as shocked witnesses shout \u201cOh my God! Oh my God!\u201d the video shows. <\/p>\n<p>The police had been called to the scene because the intersection of South 9th Street and Pacific Avenue was <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/marcelhoopla\/status\/1353172630166093824\">blocked by drivers performing doughnuts <\/a>on the street, KIRO reported.<\/p>\n<p>A witness<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ColeMillerTV\/status\/1353208254352904192\"> told KOMO-TV <\/a>the police cruiser hit a crowd of at least 20 people and one man had tire marks on him after being run over. <\/p>\n<p>The man who was struck also had his shoes blown off because of the impact, the witness said. <\/p>\n<p>One person was taken to the hospital and the condition is unknown, police said.<\/p>\n<p>City Manager Elizabeth Pauli <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/account.thenewstribune.com\/paywall\/registration?resume=2\">told Tacoma\u2019s News Tribune on Saturday night<\/a> that the officer involved will be placed on leave and she is turning the case over to county investigators.\n            <\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
